WHITE CITY Mall — part of the Baku White City project realised by the world-renowned architecture firm WS Atkins and Azerbaijan Design Company — entrusted its façade lighting project to our company, aware of our experience in the lighting sector in Türkiye and abroad, through KOCAYALAZ MÜHENDİSLİK, an engineering firm with 35 years of experience and 97% of its projects abroad. The concept was to show the building’s elliptical form at its best and to bring out the circular section of the façade; the project and an animation were prepared and submitted to the relevant authorities. In the end, 3,676 3-in-1 RGB LEDs were used to make the circular section stand out. Daylight lighting was chosen for the rest of the façade, suitable luminaires were selected, and 1,885 m were illuminated with 75,390 LEDs.

Standing in Bayraklı at the tip of İzmir Bay, the pearl of the Aegean, and facing the open sea, the towers have become the largest lighthouse in the world. Visible from 60 km out at sea in clear weather, the tower lighting — a full 1,700 m² at 200 m above the ground — has earned the title of the highest LED screen system in the world. Together with Media Tube and wallwasher luminaires, the 1,700 m² LED screen conveys a sense of infinity rising 200 m from the ground and carries Folkart Yapı A.Ş.’s philosophy of always looking forward and upward into the project.
